Teacher focus on training for English Language Learners

Drs. Kieffer and Proctor are coauthors of the new What Works Clearinghouse practice guide, Teaching Academic Content and Literacy to English Learners in Elementary and Middle School.  The workshop focused on four recommendations from the guide that address what works for English learners during reading and content area instruction.   The complete guide and resources can be found at http://ies.ed.gov/ncee/wwc/PracticeGuide.aspx?sid=19
