Welcome to May, Dragons!

We are officially in our last month of school!  Even though we are on the final turn, we still have a busy schedule ahead of us.  May is a pivotal month as we will be doing state testing, finals, and holding graduation.

Below is the schedule of tests for our 10th and 11th-grade students.  Please make every effort to have your student present on these days:

  • May 8 - 11th Grade - Culture Survey & Science

  • May 9 - 10th Grade - Culture Survey & Reading

  • May 10 - 11th Grade - Social Studies

  • May 11 - 10th Grade - Math

  • May 12 - 11th Grade - Editing/Mechanics & On Deman Writing

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES FOR MAY:

  • May 8 - KSA begins for 10th & 11th Grades

  • May 8 - Senior Awards Night (if your student is getting an award, you will have received an invitation)

  • May 11 - Choir Concert

  • May 15 & 17 - Take up Chromebooks

  • May 16 - No School - Election Day

  • May 18 - Band Concert & Senior Finals Day 1

  • May 19 - Senior Finals Day 2

  • May 22-25 - Senior Week

  • May 24 - 9th-11th Finals Day 1

  • May 25 - 9th-11th Finals Day 2 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

  • Friday, May 26th - Graduation @ 6pm at Diddle Arena

Mid-term ended on April 21, so please be sure to check your student's grades at the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  If you would like a copy of your student's midterm, please email me at joey.norman@warren.kyschools.us

When a student is caught demonstrating one of the following characteristics, a staff member can give the student a SWAG Tag. On Fridays, students can turn them in to win prizes! Be sure to talk to your student about this and join in on the fun!
