Synergy Center

The WCPS Synergy Center is a warehouse facility located off of Scottsville Road that houses items needed to support the students served by the districts 22 Family Resource Youth Services Centers. (FRYSC).  With more than 50% of the student population considered to be low income, the FRYSCs have a high need for essential items such as school supplies, toiletries, and non-perishable food items.  With little space to store items inside the school buildings, it is difficult to properly collect the items needed for such programs as the Weekend Remedy, which sends food home with children for the weekend. The Synergy Center allows FRYSC Coordinators to work together to meet the needs of each WCPS student.  By having a centralized location to store items, each school now has equal access to essential items.
