The 2019-2020 school year marks my 14th year at WEMS and my 17th year as a middle school educator. I have taught middle school math for most of those years and I love it. I love working with middle school students. This year I will continue in my role as the RTI and GT interventionalist at WEMS. I graduated with both my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University and I have an endorsement in gifted education. During the 2017-18 school year, I completed my National Board Certification in Young Adolescent Math. Helping students and teachers is my passion and WEMS is the perfect place to do just that!
I have been living in the Bowling Green area for 13 years with my husband Brian of 18 years. We have two beautiful daughters Mallory and Molly and little boy named Jenson. My two daughters keep me very busy with their dancing, gymnastics, and soccer. In my spare time, I enjoy running, biking, and swimming. I like to challenge myself by entering athletic events. I have completed 10 half marathons, 3 sprint triathlons, and 5 mud race events! I recently competed in a Spartan race which was one of the most challenging things that I have ever done. My family LOVES to travel and take on new adventures.
