HMMS YSC Lynn Vincent and Teresa McSween
Hours are 7am-3pm
The intent of the Center is to enhance students abilities to succeed in school by assisting children, youth and families in meeting some of their basic needs. This is done by providing community services at the centers or by linking families to agencies in their communities. In order for a school to have a FRYSC, there has to be at least 20% eligible for free lunch.
All children and families enrolled in HMMS or RES can use its services, regardless of family income.
Here are some of the services that we provide:
Referrals for health and education services, parenting education and referrals, referrals for medical, dental, and vision, counseling referrals, counseling groups, clothing closet, family nights, GED information and referral, health classes, service projects, alcohol and drug prevention, newsletters, school supplies, lending library, holiday assistance, and more.
