Hi, my name is Lynn Vincent.  I am the FRYSC Coordinator for Henry Moss Middle and Rockfield Elementary.  Here is just a little bit about my self.  I am married  to my husband Greg and we have one daughter, Brittany who is an RN at UK Hospital.  We also have a yellow lab named Scout.
I Graduated from WKU in 1994 with a major in Sociology and minor in Criminology.  I worked as a social worker for the Cabinet for families and children and for family court in BG before becoming the FRYSC Coordinator.  This is my 12th year at Moss and Rockfield!

Sarah Wallace is the FRYSC Program assistant.  This is her 2nd year at Moss and Rockfield.  She is married to her husband, Jimmy and she had two children, Trey, age 9 and Lillie, age 3.  She has 2 dogs and 2 cats.

HMMS/RES FRYSC  Lynn Vincent and Sarah Wallace  843-2172 or 843-2724.
Hours are 7:30-3:00 HMMS and 8:00-3:30 at RES.
We are a combined center.  We offer services to both middle and elementary students at Moss and Rockfield.  Everyone is eligible to use our services.  We are located in Room 104 at Moss and we are in the front office with an outside door at Rockfield.

The intent of the Center is to enhance students abililites to succeed in school by assisting children, youth and families in meeting some of their basic needs.  This is done by providing community services at the centers or by linking families to agencies in their communities.  In order for a school to have a FRYSC, there has to be at least 20% eligible for free lunch.
All children and families enrolled in HMMS or RES can use its services, regardless of family income.

Here are some of the services that we provide:
Referrals for full-time preschool child-care, referrals for after-school child care, referrals for health and eduction services for new and expectant parents, parenting education and referrals, referrals for medical, dental, and vision, counseling referrals, counseling groups, clothing closet, clothing giveaways, peer mediation, reality fair, health/safety fairs, family nights, GED information and referral, health classes, service projects, alcohol and drug prevention, newsletters, school supplies, lending library, and holiday assistance.

We also accept donations of food, clothing, school supplies, furniture, and appliances.  You may donate directly to Goodwill and ask them to credit our account.  This enables us to give families' vouchers for clothing and other items.
