My name is David Stobaugh and 2019-2020 will be my 6th year as the Social Studies Teacher on the Blue team at South Warren Middle School. Upon Graduation from the University of Kentucky, I was hired by the Cooperative Extension Service to serve as 4-H/Youth Development Agent for Warren County. I served in this position for 5 years before the teaching "bug" bit me and I went to teach at Drakes Creek Middle School for 7 years. I then transferred to Henry F. Moss Middle School to teach and consequently to serve as an administrator, but that teaching "bug" seems to always find me and the classroom called me back. I am excited for another great year with my Blue Crew at South Warren Middle School. Below is some more about me:

Background:
- Attended the University of Kentucky for my Bachelor's in Education and then Western Kentucky University for my Master's in Public Administration.
-Also received my Rank 1 in Administration in WKU.
-Currently in my 19th year in education and am PROUD to say that all have been in Warren County
-Taught 8th Social Studies at Drakes Creek Middle School for 7 years
-Taught both 7th and 8th Social Studies at Moss Middle School for 2 years
Personal:
-Married to my wife, Beckie, who is a former teacher, principal, and now a professor at WKU
-Have two wonderful kids, Parker, 17 (a Senior at SWHS) and Ainsley 13 (an 8th grader here at SWMS) -
-Attend Richpond Baptist Church
