Solo & Ensemble Festival

Solo & Ensemble Festival
March 7th, 2019
Henry F. Moss Middle School

Solo & Ensemble Festival is an optional event.  Students prepare solos or small ensemble (duets, trios, quartets, etc.) music and perform it for judges.  These judges then give feedback and a rating based on their performance.  All are strongly encouraged to participate.

There is a small fee for participating in the event:

  • Solos - $7
  • Ensembles - $12 (can be split between all members - i.e. everyone in a quartet would pay $3)

While this is an optional event, we strongly encourage all students to participate in this event!  The best way to improve as a musician is through performing for others and practicing new music.  All the students who participate in this event really enjoy it!!

More information will be sent out closer to the date.
