This is a list of apps that I have heard about and maybe even seen in action but haven't had a chance to do a full demo of. I hope to eventually add some/all of these to the list with a full write up, in time. Please check these out if you are looking to explore and let me know how it goes!
eduCanon is an online learning environment to create and share interactive video lessons. Teachers begin with any YouTube, Vimeo, or TeacherTube video content (screencasts, Khan Academy, Minute Physics, TED, NOVA, etc.) and transform what is traditionally passive content into an active experience for students. By time-linking activities that students engage with as the video progresses the content is segmented into digestible components - increasing student engagement and, through our real-time monitoring, informing the next day’s lesson planning. Works on PC/Mac and iPads.
EDpuzzle Simmilar to eduCanon. I know it also tracks which students have watched all/some of your videos.
