The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
One of the best!! -Mrs. Hall, former WEHS Librarian
Hazel, a cancer patient with a terminal yet stable diagnosis, sees herself as a ticking bomb who will scar those who care about her when her looming death captures her life avoids relationships. She attends a support group, at her mothers request, and meets a boy. Agustus Waters, a cancer survivor, changes her story completely.
I'm not crazy about sad stories of cancer patients, but this love story and the raw honesty of the thoughts and feelings of these characters are so well written that anyone can relate to them, and fall in love with their story.
