Mrs. Browning began her Warren East career in 2006 after teaching at Trinity High School in Whitesville, KY, for seven years. Originally from Owensboro, she received her Bachelor of Science in English from Murray State University and completed her Master of Arts in English from Western Kentucky University in July 2009. Mrs. Browning earned her National Board Certification in Adolescence/Young Adult English/Language Arts in November 2014. British literature, especially the Romantic period, is her favorite. She enjoys teaching sophomores because the literature selections are so diverse. Mrs. Browning coached the Warren East Speech Team from 2007 to 2017. She has been the yearbook adviser since 2015. On a personal note, Mrs. Browning has two daughters, Riley and Carly, and a step-son, Garret. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking, shopping, attending WKU sporting events with her husband, Gary, and, of course, reading.
