As a former SWMS teacher, I am thrilled to be staring my 5th year as a school counselor here!  Before talking about myself I need to first mention the four most important people in my life.  My wife Meredith, and our sons; Jackson, Samuel and Brooks.

My career began teaching Science at Ohio County Middle School aftern graduating from WKU.  During my time at OCMS I completed my Masters in Middle Grades Education with an emphasis in Science and Social Studies from the University of the Cumberlands.  After 8 1/2 years at OCMS I accepted a Social Studies position at SWMS after we moved to the area.  I spent two years learning what it means to be a Spartan and was amazed by how supportive and engaged the entire South Warren community is when it comes to educating their young people. 

During this time I completed my Masters in School Counseling.  As much as I hated to leave a truly special place at SWMS, the desire to become a counselor led me to the high school I graduated from, Butler County High School.   After two years learning skills and gaining valuable experience, the opportunity to be a school counselor at SWMS presented itself.  As wonderful as my time at BCHS was, and as wonderful as the people I worked with are, the opportunity to be a Spartan again was too great of a pull.
