Description:

The Richardsville Family Resource Center is located within Richardsville Elementary to provide school-based family support. It is our mission to help students and families achieve and succeed in everyday life by removing nonacademic barriers to education.

The Family Resource Center enhances academic success by addressing the following five components through a unique blend of services and programs determined by the needs of the population being served, available resources, location, etc. 

  • Preschool Child Care;
  • After School Child Care;
  • Families in Training;
  • Family Literacy;
  • Health Services and Referrals


The Family Resource Center is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Please call for an appointment after hours if necessary or during a scheduled school break.

If you or your child need assistance, please contact the Center directly. If your family is in need of immediate assistance due to a crisis, please call 270-843-HELP.

  • 7/27/22   Back To School Bash7/27/22 Back To School Bash

    Thanks to all the students and families who joined us for the 2022 Warren County Schools FRYSC Back to School Bash! We had over 1000 students show out to make it a record crowd for our first year back. We can't wait for great things to happen this year! 

  • 8/1   Kinder Camp8/1 Kinder Camp

    All 2022-2023 incoming kindergarteners are encouraged to attend Kinder Camp on Monday, August 1 from 9 am to 12 pm at Richardsville Elementary. Kinder students will meet the teachers and new friends, discover classrooms and school guidelines, enjoy breakfast, lunch, circle time and much more! We hope your young scholar can join us in memory making and to help ease first day transitions!

  • 8/2   RAIDER LIFE8/2 RAIDER LIFE

    TUESDAY, AUGUST 2 the north side FRYSC will host Raider Life, a new two hour orientation for 7th graders. Among other things, this new program will help students get acquainted to the school layout, classroom formats, see the lockers and meet new friends. The goal is to help transition and adjust to middle school life. Sessions from 12p-2p (Richardsville & NWES) and 3p-5p (Bristow & Oakland). Click HERE to register your child.

  • 8/4   OPEN HOUSE8/4 OPEN HOUSE

    The new school year is about to begin! Join us on Thursday, August 4 for the 22-23 Open House event. Drop-in between 5:30 pm and 7 pm to see the principal and meet the new guidance counselor. You will also get to meet your child's teacher and check out the classroom. Lastly, you will have the chance to complete important paperwork and online registration. IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES, PLEASE STOP BY THE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER.

  • 8/5   Family Movie Night8/5 Family Movie Night

    Join us for our 2nd annual FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT. The Family Resource Center will be showing SING 2 on Friday, August 5 beginning at 8 pm. The movie will be shown outdoors on the lawn of the Community Center. Concessions will be available by the PTO. Don't forget your chairs and/or blankets.

  • Helping HeartsHelping Hearts

    Warren County Schools provides 24/7 access for comprehensive emotional and mental health information and resources. Helping Hearts is committed to assisting students by helping remove or reduce barriers to school success. 

    Helping Hearts covers topics such as: anger management, anxiety, bullying, depression, grief & coping, internet safety, physical & substance abuse and suicide. 

    The site also has directories for local resources, family resource and youth services centers and more.
