The world we live in today can be scary for a child to face alone. We invite you, the parent, or community member to be present at school to help create a strong school community that supports children. Richardsville Elementary provides many opportunities for parents to volunteer... book fair, small reading groups, classroom parent, Friday Folders and many more...even as a guest speaker! Involved parents create stability for kids. A community that stays involved in schools, and in youth, creates a security net of safety and strength.
NOTE: You do NOT have to have volunteer training if you are only visiting a classroom on an infrequent basis, having lunch with your student, attending a PTO meeting/event, or working a booth/class event (such as a festival).
