Creative Curriculum is the curriculum we use in our classroom. We work really hard to let our students guide their learning. Creative Curriculum is linked with our common assessment, Teaching Strategies Gold. This is used by all preschools in Warren County. You will receive three progress reports throughout the year on the things your student has accomplished and some things you can strive to work on as the year progresses. As your student enters preschool, we will want to see what he/she knows. We will do this by administering the Brigance 3 screener. The results will be communicated with you at one of your home visits so you can see where your child lies with his/her early development. Our goal is to give your child a jumpstart for Kindergarten.

The Creative Curriculum for Preschool - Research
We believe that all students can learn and be proud of their accomplishments. We strive to increase knowledge in all areas of development: Cognition, Communication, Social/Emotional, Motor, and Adaptive. We strongly believe that all our students can come together and develop a strong sense of community within our classroom and positive behavior supports for all students are essential.
We also believe that our program is only as strong as our family’s involvement and encourage participation in all aspects of our classroom from volunteering within the classroom (perhaps, reading a book), to preparing classroom materials (cutting supplies), to assisting with a class field trip or party. Whatever your participation level - we want you to be involved!
