Before/After-School Age Programs
Fall 2014/Spring 2015 Information Sheet – Please Keep
Fee Information: This information is a courtesy and does not substitute for information in the Parent Handbook.
Fee Schedule: Fees are due the 1st of each month even if school is not in session. Pre-addressed envelopes are available for yourconvenience.
Late Fees: Fees received in office after the 6th of the month will be charged a $20 late fee.
Registration Fee: $30 per account (non-refundable). Account is established by adult responsible for payment.
Monthly Fee: Full-time fees are based on the number of school days per school year rather than number of days school is in session each month. The fees are divided into 10 equal monthly payments of $115 per month for after-school programs and $60 per month for before-school programs. In order to provide quality programs at a reasonable cost, enrollment consists of the purchase of a monthly position. Tuition is to be paid each month, regardless of the number of days the program is in session or number of days attended.
Discounts: Pre-pay Discount: A 10% discount may be obtained for full-time enrollment by paying for an entire term in advance. Sibling Discount: 33 percent off monthly fee for third child and subsequent children enrolled in full-time care.
Part Time Fee: Minimum monthly charges apply. Please refer to Parent Handbook for billing information. After-school programs: $12 per day (cost effective if fewer than 10 days per month) Before-school programs: $6 per day (cost effective if fewer than 10 days per month)
Payable To: Community Education, 1227 Westen Avenue, Bowling Green, KY 42104. (Pre-printed envelopes are available on site for your convenience. Credit and debit cards are not accepted.)
Prorating: Fees are not prorated due to illness, vacation or weather.
Reinstatement Fee: $15 if children are dropped or withdrawn and reinstated within the same school year
Change of Status Fee: $15 to move from full-time to part-time or vice versa. Office must be notified of any change in status by the 6th of the month for which status change is effective.
Non-Sufficient Funds Fee: $35
All Day Fees: Elementary programs: $25 per day per child will apply to all-day programming offered during fall and spring breaks/intercessions, including professional development days and selected holidays. Children must be registered by deadlines in order to participate. A minimum number of children must be registered by the deadline in order for the program to be offered. Middle school programs: May be offered if enough interest is indicated. Please contact Community Education for more information.
