Curriculum

Teachers at Natcher Elementary use the Common Core Standards as their framework for curriculum in reading and in math. We use the Next Generation Science Standards for our science curriculum. For all other subjects, teachers use the Kentucky Program of Studies. Common Core Standards are being created for the other subject areas that are not currently aligned. Assessment

Students at Natcher Elementary are assessed in a multitude of ways throughout the year. Teachers use formative and summative assessments to best meet the needs of all students. Warren County Schools use FastBridge assessments to assess students' strengths and weaknesses in reading and math. In addition, students in grades 3-6 will take the KSA (Kentucky Summative Assessment) at the end of the year. We look forward to seeing our students shine!
