Welcome!
My name is Neesa Richardson, and I am so excited to be starting my sixteenth year at Natcher. This is my eleventh year as Elementary Curriculum Coordinator and Gifted and Talented teacher! I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2007 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I completed my Masters Degree in Library Media Education in 2009. I completed my Rank 1 with a Gifted Endorsement and Math Specialist Endorsement in December of 2013.
I am originally from a small town in Owen County, Kentucky. I came to WKU in 2003 where I met my husband, Dan. We were married on June 13, 2009. We have two sons: Kellen (10 years) and Brecken (6 years). They are such a joy! We attend Living Hope Baptist Church and are very lucky to have a wonderful church family.
I love being a teacher and feel so blessed to do this for a living! This is my thirteenth year teaching at Natcher. I realize that all children are different and learn in different ways. It is my task to figure out the best ways to help your child learn and help all students strive towards continuous progress. Ten years ago, I worked with several other Natcher educators in beginning a drama club for Natcher students. If you are interested in learning more about the drama club, there is a link on this website.
Please feel free to contact me throughout the year for any questions, comments, or concerns. I respond quickly to email and will also return phone calls as quickly as possible.
