About Me

I would first like to say WELCOME to South Warren High School and my webpage.  My name is Nick Lowe and this is my first year at South Warren and I am excited to be the Dean of Students!  Previously I was a teacher at Greenwood High School for 10 years, where I taught Pre-AP Geography and was the Athletic Director.

I was born and raised in Bowling Green, KY attending Natcher Elementary, Drakes Creek, and Greenwood High School where I graduated in 2004.  I have always been a Gator and bleed green and gold.  At Greenwood I ran Cross Country and Track from 1998-2004 where I competed and was on the 2003 and 2004 State Runner-Up Cross Country and Indoor Track teams.  It was a little strange to come back to my high school and call my old teachers colleagues, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.  I have been very blessed to have the opportunity to work at a great school with a great faculty.

After high school I went to Western Kentucky University, where I majored in Social Studies with a minor in History.  I also worked towards my certification in Secondary Education.  At WKU I was a member of Dynamic Leadership Institute, a Senator on Student Government, and a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  I graduated from WKU in the Fall of 2008 Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies and History as well as in 2013, with a Masters of Arts in Secondary Education - Teacher Leadership. I later completed my Rank 1 in Administration from WKU as well.

I am very priveleged to be able to work with so many great students and have the opportunity to have this job.  I am really looking forward to this school year and GO SPARTANS!!!
