Assistance with Housing:

            Referrals are made to community agencies to assist with emergency housing issues such as deposits
            and rent payments. 

            Assistance with finding housing including home ownership and loan resources.

Assistance wth Utilities:

Referrals are made to community agencies that assist with utilities for both emergency and non emergency situations.

Examples are heating assistance with LHEAP and winter weatherization programs.

Emergency Food:

A food pantry is maintained for students and families.  The need may be on an emergency basis or for those requiring weekend food assistance on a continuous basis.  Referrals are made to community food banks as well.

Health Services:

              The YSC refers students and families to agencies that assist with medical and mental issues. Many of these agencies may offer services at a free or  reduced rate.  Services may include: dental, vision, medical, and mental health counseling services.
