What We Do:
We are responsible for collecting taxes levied by the Warren County Board of Education. The board levies an occupational license tax of one-half of one percent (0.5%) on salaries, wages, commissions and other compensation of individuals who are Warren County residents for activities performed or rendered in Warren County and on the net profits of all businesses, professions or occupations from activities conducted in Warren County School District. The tax is levied in accordance with KRS 160.605. The purpose of this tax is to provide a supplement to state funding for the education of students in Warren County.
