Blue Slip

Blue Slip

Above is a picture of Briarwood's Blue Slip.  At Briarwood, Blue Slips are a proactive approach to increase positive behavior. Blue Slips are earned by students from faculty and staff throughout the day.  Earning a Blue Slip means the student is seen following our Guidelines for Success.  The Guidelines for Success are shown above on the Blue Slip.  Each classroom has a Blue Slip Winner every other Friday during our Celebratory Morning Meeting.  Prizes are given to each Blue Slip Winner!  In addition each classroom and/or grade level set a Blue Slip Goal.  The reward for attaining these whole group goals is often hat day, pajama day, popsicle party, popcorn party, technology time, extra recess or anything else the group decides.
