Celebrating the accomplishments of students have been the highlights of my time on the board. Every graduation, concert, athletic event and school event leaves me beaming with pride in the successes of our students. I am proud of the board’s focus on school safety, energy savings, and ongoing facility improvements. There is no place I would rather serve than Warren County Public Schools. We are so blessed to be part of this community.

Financial management and education experience: 20+ in program and financial management in the education sector, 4 years with WCPS as a teaching assistant for English learners, elected to the Greenwood High School Site-based Decision-making Council and Gatton Academy Parent Committee, Masters in Public Administration with specialization in public and non-profit financial management

"I am passionate about public education for all, and I believe that public education lifts up our community. As a parent watching our sons attend Briarwood Elementary, Drakes Creek Middle School, Greenwood High School, and the Gatton Academy, and as a teaching assistant at Briarwood, I saw firsthand the dedication of the teachers and staff in WCPS. WCPS is a welcoming environment for all students, and I want to contribute my time and talents to enhancing the school environment and high quality education. My husband, Dr. Jeffrey Kash, is a Western Kentucky University professor, and I have two sons, Benjamin and Jason."
