WCPS Student Excels At State 4-H Horse Competition

Avery Cole

South Warren Middle School student, Avery Cole, spent part of her summer break participating in the Kentucky 4-H State Horse Contest. The event was hosted in Lexington at the Kentucky Horse Park and University of Kentucky. Avery walked away with a long list of accomplishments listed below:

1st place - Junior Individual Presentation/Demonstration

2nd place - Junior Horse Bowl High Point Individual (out of approximately 65 youth)

2nd place - Junior Equipment Craft

2nd place - Junior Public Speaking

3rd place - Junior Hippology Overall High Team

3rd place - Junior Horse Judging High Individual Halter

3rd place - Photography, 3 photos of an event
