Warren County Public Schools is pleased to announce that it has received district-wide accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) following an intense and thorough review from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission.

To earn accreditation, school districts must meet AdvancED’s high standards, be evaluated by a team of professionals from outside the district, and implement a continuous process of school improvement.  An external review team met with the WCPS Executive Leadership Team, Central Office Directors, school principals, and parent-community representatives before touring several schools and facilities.

“WCPS is committed to continuous improvement in every facet of our organization,” stated Superintendent Rob Clayton.  “To be recognized as an entire district by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission is a tremendous honor and a testament to our belief that excellence can be achieved when we remain focused on personal, professional and educational growth.”

Dr. Mark Elgart, President/CEO of AdvancED, the parent organization of SACS CASI, commended the district for its achievement.  “Achieving continuous accreditation is an exceptional accomplishment.  The staff and school community at the Warren County School System deserve our highest praise for their ongoing pursuit of quality and excellence.”
