Which students will be the first group to attend middle school as 6^th graders?

Should the Board decide to move the 6^th grade, students enrolled in 3^rd grade during the 2014-2015 school year will be the first group to attend middle school as 6^th graders.  According to current plans, this transition would take place in the 2017-2018 school year.
