    In an effort to be consistent with Warren County government, Warren County Public Schools central office and all individual school offices will close its doors to the public, Monday, March 23, until further notice. However, offices will remain open for business via online and phone communication.  Contact information will be posted on the outside of all WCPS schools/buildings during this time. Citizens and families will still be able to call each individual school office and/or our district office, 270-781-5150, during normal business hours for direction and assistance.  Food distribution will continue to operate as scheduled. Moving forward, we will continue to follow all guidance from our local health officials and Governor Andy Beshear. Thank you for your understanding.

Eligibility Requirements

The Kentucky Preschool Program is available to all children determined to be eligible.

 

Four-year-old children without a disability or developmental delay must meet ALL the following criteria:

 

  • Must be four years old before or on August 1 of the current school year
  • Must be a resident of the Warren County School District
  • Must meet Federal Poverty Income Guidelines (FPIG) 

Three and four-year-old children  may be eligible for preschool upon the child’s third birthday if the determination has been made by the Admissions and Release Committee that the child has a developmental delay or disability and may be in need of special education services.

To begin the process of determining if a child is disabled or delayed and in need of special education services or for more information, contact the preschool teacher in the school district in which you live.
