Superintendent Message

February 24, 2025

Hello WCPS Families,

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have stepped up to support your neighbors and team members during the recent severe flooding and snow. Your kindness and generosity make a significant difference and I could not be more proud of our community! For those who have been impacted by the floods, please know that our thoughts are with you during this challenging time. If you find yourself in need of assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us; we are here for you. I have included a link to the Kentucky Emergency Management home page link here, you can call (502) 607-6665 or fill out an online application for emergency assistance by clicking here

Graduation dates are set for the class of 2025! I am thrilled to commemorate the achievements of our 1,300 seniors as we celebrate their accomplishments and send them off to embark on their next steps in their journey towards future success.

Do you know a librarian who goes above and beyond? Nominate them for a Kentucky Association of School Librarians (KASL) Award and celebrate their impact by clicking here. Nominations are due by April 15, 2025!

Don’t forget, you can watch all of the good things happening across our district on WCPS’ YouTube page (Warren County Public Schools). Our latest story is in a two-part feature looking at the inspiring story of Harper Murphy, a student from Rich Pond Elementary who was diagnosed with cancer at the start of the 2024-25 school year. We are thrilled to report that Harper is now cancer-free, and we show you a BIG surprise organized by her school to celebrate her recovery! Watch Part 1 here and Part 2 here
