Hello! I am Ellaine Thornberry and this is my 21st year of teaching in Warren County, and going into my 27th year total. This is my fourth year at JCES and I love it! Prior to joining the JCES Family, I taught at Rockfield for 18 years. Before moving to Bowling Green in 2001, I taught in Edgerton, Wisconsin for 5 years. I grew up in Elwood, Indiana and received my bachelor's degree from Ball State University. While living in Wisconsin, I obtained my master's degree from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
I've been married to my wonderful husband, Mark, for 27 years. Mark is a senior electrical engineer at the GM Corvette Plant. We have an amazing 24 year old son, Noah, who is a Rockfield, Moss, and Warren Central Alum. He is a graduate from the University of the Cumberlands, where he is a double majored in accounting and business. Noah will be attending Law School at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana this fall. I have two sweet fur-princesses, Connelly (Labradoodle) and Maizey (Wirehaired Pointing Griffon),
I'm a member of Crossland Community Church, where I am active in the Women's Ministry and the Fortify Youth Group. To sharpen my saw, I enjoy traveling, shopping, boating, and camping. Once Noah was finished playing baseball in college, our family took up golfing again. Baseball is my favorite sport, and the New York Yankees are my favorite team. My other favorite sports teams are the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and the Nashville Predators.
I love music and The Beatles are my all-time favorite group!
