Message from Principal Mr. Joey Norman

Dragon Families,

I wanted to reach out to you all to share some school-specific information for Warren Central.  As you know, this has been an unprecedented 48 hours in WCPS. We have worked cohesively to develop the best plan to ensure the safety of your children and families.  This afternoon, WCPS sent out the following information via email and social media:

Please follow the link to view WCPS closing information: and the following YouTube video:

This information covers many of the details and questions that families, employees, and students may have had.  As far as WCHS, the teachers have been AMAZING in preparing the best possible learning opportunities for all students in a short amount of time.  Today, your child should have come home with one or both of the following:

  1. A packet of work for each of their 7 classes

  2. Digital directions to access online learning for their 7 classes

*** If your child was absent today (3/13) and you have internet access at home, please email their teachers to ask about obtaining your child’s assignments.  Please use this link to search for the emails of WCHS teachers: ***

*** If your child was absent today (3/13) and you do not have internet access at home, please call the school on Monday (3/16) at 270.781.2401 to arrange to pick up hard copies of your child’s assignments ***

The teachers were directed to provide this information within a 24-hour window and they rose to the occasion.  This is a new concept for everyone, so your student may have some questions regarding their assignments. Because of that, all teachers will be accessible via email, Remind App, or Google from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm on our regular instructional days (March 16-18 (19-20 are scheduled days off), March 23-27, and March 30 - April 3).  Our regularly scheduled Spring break will take place during its normal time of April 6-10, with students hopefully returning to face-to-face learning on April 13th.

If you have any concerns or questions that are not covered in the district information or the information above, please feel free to contact WCHS.  Also, follow us on Social Media for updates as they happen:
