A little about me:
I grew up in Glasgow (Barren County), Kentucky. I came to Bowling Green to attend WKU and have lived in Warren County since then.
I graduated from WKU with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1998. In 2004, I completed my Master’s Degree in Library Media Education.
I began my teaching career at Oakland Elementary School in 1999 where I taught for one year as a grant teacher to reduce primary class size. I moved to Natcher Elementary as a classroom teacher in August of 2000. I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 19 years at Natcher. In August of 2019, I accepted a third grade teaching position at Jody Richards Elementary.
My husband and I have been married for 20 years. He is from Warren County and we chose to make Warren County our home. We have two children. Our oldest is at South Warren Middle School and our youngest is attending Jody Richards Elementary.
I love being a teacher because I get to share my love of learning with children. I am so excited to be starting my 21st year of teaching!
