My name is Carla Scott, and this is my fourth year at Rockfield Elementary School and as a Guidance Counselor. Before coming to Rockfield, I worked for six years as a Special Educator at a middle school. I worked two years as a Resource Teacher, three years as the Moderate to Severe Disabilities Unit Teacher, and one year as the Eighth Grade Collaborative Teacher. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in May, 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Exceptional Education; May, 2013 with my Masters of Art in Education in School Counseling; and in May, 2014 I earned my Rank 1 in School Counseling and an endorsement in Individual Intellectual Assessments.
I have been married for 13 years to Josh, and we love our kids.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, swimming, eating out, singing, and watching T.V.
I enjoy learning, and strive to learn more in order to help my students! I still have a lot to learn as a guidance counselor, so I would greatly appreciate your continued patience on this journey. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me; I check my email daily.
I LOVE working with kids, and greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with your child!
