I am the Curriculum Coordinator and District Intervention Specialist assigned to South Warren High School.  In this position, I work with teachers regarding professional development and instructional practices.  I also work with students.  Part of my job is to assess where students are related to College and Career Readiness and then find ways to help them be successful both in the classroom and on assessments.  My ultimate goal is to help students be more prepared for life after high school.

I am a Warren County native. I graduated from Warren Central High School and Western Kentucky University.  I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree and Rank I Certification in Guidance Counseling.  Before teaching at South Warren, I was at Warren Central for 15 years where I worked as a math teacher and Curriculum Coordinator.  I love the classroom but am finding that the role of school intervention specialist is great!  I am married to Ryan Haas and we have three great kids.  Maddie is a first year teacher at Jennings Creek Elementary School. Caroline is a Sophomore at WKU majoring in Exceptional Education/Elementary Education.  Noah is a Junior at South Warren and plays soccer.  I sponsor Spartan Council, work with rewards associated with our PBIS team, Co-coordinate Gifted and Talented services in the building, and am the school contact for the Warren County German/American Partnership Program. I am very excited this year to be working with the Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy and our school's Dance Little Red campaign supporting Norton Children's Hospital.
