I am thrilled that you have decided to take part in the South Warren Agriculture program! I am very eager to serve as one of the 3 agriculture teachers here at South Warren. This is my third year teaching in the Warren County Public School system, and I look forward to many more rewarding years here at South Warren High School! I graduated from Western Kentucky University in the Spring of 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Education. During my time at WKU, I served as an Agricultural Ambassador of the College for 2 years. I also served as the President of Agricultural Education Society for 2 years. In 2017, I was recognized as the WKU Ogden College of Science and Engineering Outstanding Agricultural Education Student. In 2018, I was recognized as the WKU Ogden College of Science and Engineering Outstanding Student of the year for the Department of Agriculture. During my time at WKU, I managed to complete 6 internships with the KY FFA Association, as well as 3 internships with the KY Poultry Federation. I also spent 4 years working at the KY FFA Leadership Training Center as a classroom instructor as well as a leadership facilitator. In 2019, I was one of six educators in the Nation to be awarded the Ideas Unlimited award by the National Association of Agricultural Educators in partnership with National Geographic Learning. In the summer of 2020, I completed my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands.
My passion for agriculture runs deep, and I cannot wait to share it with you! Thanks for wanting to be a part of such a great organization!
