Greetings and welcome to SWHS!
I attended Rockfield Elementary and graduated from Warren Central High School in 1987. I graduated from WKU in December of 1993 with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education/English. I am married and have three kids. My wife is Stacey--we've now been married. . .a while--and my children are Kacey, Spencer, and Sydney. Kacey is a graduate from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Psychology and a 2013 graduate of South Warren High School. She is now a flight attendant for American Airlines. Spencer is a 2017 graduate of SWHS and attends WKU, and Sydney is a 2019 graduate of SWHS—going to UK. I really enjoy spending time with my family--vacationing, playing tennis and ping pong, going to worship, watching favorite sitcoms and movies, etc. My favorite vacations include Arizona, New York City, Jackson Hole, and Rome.
I love basketball--big UK fan--and tennis. The Office, Seinfeld, and Cheers are my favorite sitcoms, and I enjoy reading. My favorite books include For Whom the Bell Tolls, The Kite Runner, Brave New World, and The Picture of Dorian Gray.
This is my twenty-seventh year teaching. I taught for nineteen years at Warren Central High School where I eventually taught all levels from freshmen to senior AP Literature and Composition. I also taught for one year at Logan County High School. I taught seventh grade at SWMS for one year and this is my sixth year at SWHS. I have two Master's degrees--one in Secondary Education and another in Counseling. I'm looking forward to another year at SWHS!
