I am so excited to work with all the students that need my help to be more successful in their classroom!
I graduated from Logan County High School and attended Western Kentucky University - Go TOPS! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading from Austin Peay State University.
This is my 24th year as an educator! I began my teaching career in Clarksville, TN at Kenwood Elementary in 1999 and moved to Stevenson Elementary School in Russellville in 2002.
I am blessed to be married to a wonderful man, Ed. He is a Locomotive Engineer/Conductor for CSX Transportation. I am also blessed with 3 sons: Dalton, Connor and Blake. I also have two stepchildren: Katelyn and Trevor. Last but not least, I have a beautiful granddaughter named Harper and a grandson named Maverick. I love being a wife, mother and a Grammy! My family takes up most of my free time (and I wouldn’t have it any other way), but I also enjoy working outside, pool days, and traveling.
I love teaching and working with kids every day. I hope my passion and love of learning helps your child develop a life-long love for learning too. Once a child has been in my classroom, I will forever consider him/her as one of “my kids.”
