Hola!,

My name is Erika Diaz and I am one of the English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers at the Pond. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Education from my home country, Mexico, and a Master’s Degree in Education in ESL from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

I feel very fortunate to teach and to work with culturally diverse students and families, which is one of my passions.  

When I am not at work I love spending time with my wonderful husband, Rodrigo, and our three children who are our greatest blessing; Diego, Paulina and Alex. I also love to read, run and watch movies.
