Hi! My name is Angelia Beltz (Angie). This will be my first year working at Bristow Elementary School. I’m super excited to be a Bristow Bear! I have 15 years of teaching experience, the 22-23 school year will be my 13th year teaching Exceptional Education. This year at Bristow I will be servicing students in kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. I am a huge advocate for inclusion, I truly enjoy co-teaching and collaborating with General Education Teachers to overcome barriers to the general education curriculum for our students. Further, I am committed to meeting students’ individual social and academic needs!
I went to Western Kentucky University where I obtained my Master of Arts Degree in 2011 in P-12 Learning and Behavior Disorders and my Bachelor of Science in 2008 in Elementary Education.
I grew up very close to Warren County, in Allen County, Kentucky – where I continue to reside. Warren County has always been home away from home, not only have I lived on the WKU campus; but I met my husband in Warren County. My husband, Tim, continues to work in Warren County. Together we have 3 girls – Melaina – 25, Hannah - 21, and Aspen – 15, and 2 Granddaughters - Sadie – 5 and Jennie – 3 weeks old.
Did I mention – I am SO EXCITED to be on this new journey of serving in Warren County and the Bristow Community! Additionally, I want you to know that I value relationships with my colleagues, my students, and their families! I look forward to meeting each of you and to begin building those lasting relationships! I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!
