My name is Kahli Abercrombie. I became a preschool teacher at Bristow Elementary in 2012. I have also worked at North Warren Elementary and Richardsville Elementary. I am looking forward to another wonderful school year here at Bristow.
I am originally from Phenix City, Alabama. I have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Public Health degree in environmental health from WKU, and a Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education from WKU. I have three daughters: Kalyn, Kalei, and Makenzie. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, listening to Kpop, and watching movies and Kdramas.
At Bristow Elementary, we incorporate the principles of The Seven Habits of Happy Kids in order to help our students become successful both in and out of the classroom. By using The Seven Habits, our students feel empowered to make good choices. Thus, they begin to realize that they can be true leaders even at a young age.
Our preschool program is an all-inclusive classroom environment which consist of typically developing students and students with developmental delays and disabilities. If you have any questions about our preschool program at Bristow, please refer to the "Frequently Asked Questions" section or please feel free to contact me.
I look forward to working with the children and families at Bristow.
