I began teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) at Bristow Elementary in 2009. Kim Moyers is my Instructional Assistant and we both LOVE being ESL teachers! We both believe that our English Language Learners have incredible talents and leadership skills. Our mission is to help our students develop their English skills so they can more easily share those gifts and talents with the Bristow community and beyond!
I am originally from Indiana where I attended Ball State University and earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1991. Since that time, I have earned a Master of Arts Degree in Communication and a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with an Endorsement in English as a Second Language, both from WKU. In 2018, I earned National Board Certification in English as a New Language.
