*My name is Michelle Stinnett. I am thrilled to begin my 22nd year of teaching in Warren County at Alvaton Elementary School this year.  My personal mission in life is to LOVE, LEAD, and INSPIRE! I can't wait to get to know the Alvaton community and get involved in any way that I can.
*I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade again this year!  I have been a teacher now for 22 years(10 of those years have been in the 5th grade, one year in a 1st/2nd grade split, and the rest in 3rd grade).  Teaching is a passion of mine.  I truly enjoy watching a child learn and grow throughout the year and challenging my students in various ways.  Sometimes, it's just the little things that make me smile.  I look forward to a wonderful school year.
*I am proud to be a sponsor of the Alvaton BETA Club this 2021-2022 school year and look forward to seeking out other opportunities of service that may arise.
*Outside of the school environment, I am super busy with my husband of 22 years, Mike, and our three fantastic children (Kalyn- Graduate student in the dental department at UK, Tayler- graduate of the Institute of American Musical Theatre in NYC working as a dancer/choreographer/instructor, and Brakton- a 12th grade basketball player at Greenwood High School).
*I also enjoy teaching fitness classes at Bowling Green Athletic Club and am an active member of Living Hope Baptist Church.  I love spending time with family and friends, running outside, kayaking, reading, and baking.
