What a wonderful year we are going to have! Journey along with us this year as we lead and learn! 

Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself.  This is my twenty eighth year teaching, twenty of which have been at Briarwood.  I previously taught at Rich Pond Elementary and Taylor County Elementary.  I have been married to my wonderful husband for twenty-eight years.  John Paul works for our alma mater, Western Kentucky University (GO TOPS!) in the development office.  I am the proud mother of two children, both who attended Briarwood. Jack is a senior at WKU, and Maggie, a junior at Greenwood.

When I'm not teaching, I can be found at the Greenwood soccer field cheering the team on! I am also an avid reader. Other things I enjoy include traveling, worshiping at Living Hope with my dear family, and enjoying my favorite snacks (chocolate and Coke Zero).  My dream is to publish a children's book. Maybe someday I'll have a book published and available for checkout at Briarwood!
