Located at 2565 Russellville Road in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Henry F. Moss Middle School is named for former chairman of the Warren County Board of Education and longtime supporter of education, Henry F. Moss.  Our team of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and administrators is proud to carry on that tradition of educating the children of Warren county.  We serve 500-550 seventh and eighth graders and offer regular, advanced, resource, and English as a Second Language courses.  Advanced students have the opportunity to take algebra, geometry, and biology.  The library media center has 13,000 books available for students and is open after school on Tuesdays for students to work on homework and projects.  Every classroom is equipped with a Promethean ActivBoard (i.e. "smart board), and a complement of technology that enables teachers to create interactive lessons.  Teachers may also use a variety of technology in their classes including laptops, iPods, and iPads.  In order to help students succeed, we are fortunate to have a Family Youth Resource Services center where coordinator Lynn Vincent assists students and their families with a variety of resources that students might need to be successful in school.

During the course of the year, we administer a variety of assessments to check that students are learning and mastering knowledge and skills.  These assessments include GRADE and GMADE, ThinkLink, Scholastic Reading Inventory, and the Explore from ACT.

You can go to the link below to access the latest school report card from the Kentucky Department of Education.

We welcome parents and visitors to see the good things that are happening at Moss.

The site-based decision making council for Henry F. Moss Middle School meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. to make decisions that affect the entire school.  Led by the principal, the council is composed of three teachers and two parents, but anyone is welcome to attend.  Click here for meeting minutes.  This year's council members are:
