Integrated Pest Management Pesticide Application Notice
Dear Parent/Guardian and/or School Employee: The Warren County Public School District implemented Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to control insect/animal pests to minimize health and environmental risks. The IPM program emphasizes monitoring, inspection, and non-chemical means of pest control using pesticides only sparingly. When necessary, they are properly applied by licensed WCPS contracted Pest Control Operators. This notice is to inform parents and staff members that a pesticide application as described below is necessary. This notice is sent out 24 hours in advance of a pesticide application or of an emergency application recently completed, where an advance notification was not possible.
