Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) is a related arts course that students will take for 18 weeks while at SWMS. During this time students will learn a variety of LIFESKILLS that they will use now and throughout their future.
Fashion Design/Intro to Sewing is an extension course usually taught during 1st period. Students will learn basics about clothing construction, hand and machine sewing, and a variety of hands on and research projects all about the fashion world.
Interior Design is an extension course usually taught during 7th period. Students will learn about a variety of art and design principals, how to construct floor plans, how to design specific spaces throughout different design styles.
