As you look at my web-page you will notice three pictures. The one at the top is of my wife and I right after we were married in 2008. She is Cathryn Annell Browning and she is the love of my life, my best friend, and also a RN/District Nurse with the Warren County Public Schools' System. We love having a very similar schedule and we spend as much time together as we possibly can.
The second picture is of my three granddaughters (from left to right) Emma Shea, Jenna Reece, and Alexis (Ally) Jade from Halloween 2010. Now this picture actually covers two of my passions, my granddaughters whom I love with all my heart, and the UK Basketball Wildcats. Sure I love UK Football too, but UK Basketball is what I can lose sleep over. I know, I know, I went to WKU so I should pull for them right? Well I do want WKU to do well, but I am sorry, my Dad raised his three boys as avid Wildcat fans. I simply bleed BLUE!!!!!
The third picture is of my beloved Gators of GHS! I am a Gator through and through! The Swamp is where I live! It is a superb school, it has great teachers, skilled administrators, a fantastic staff, and a student body who routinely excels at every challenge presented them. I thoroughly enjoy teaching the students here at Greenwood High School, and do my best to impart unto them, not only all I can about WWI and WWII, or the Columbian Exchange, but also as much as I can about my life's experiences. Experiences such as watching live TV covering the first lunar landing , the Charles Manson murders, the Watergate scandal, the turbulent Anti-Vietnam War years, the often-violent Civil-Rights Movement era when I was a child in Louisville, KY, or the attempted Reagan assassination. I hope I can add a bit of interest to topics such as these by relating to my students my thoughts and impressions at the time each of these events were taking place. I welcome contact from you, at any time, and I promise you that I will do my best to give your young adult my very best each and every class period. Call on me whenever you have a question or a concern.
