“The Adolescent Brain” Workshop for Parents

November 7th at 12 pm

The SWMS Youth Service Center collaborated with Brainspotting Therapist, Sarah Freeman to offer a parent workshop to understand the biology that causes “psuedo craziness” in the adolescent brain. Sarah Freeman offers insight into the mind of the teenage brain.  Understanding what is happening neurologically is key to helping us better relate and respond to adolescents.  Sarah shares guidance for families who have experienced trauma as well as specializing in trauma resolution, anxiety and depression.
