At Plano Elementary School, we're happy to have parents and community
members as volunteers. We have a wide range of opportunities from time
to time if you are interested.
Anyone who desires to work with students in the building, or
on field trips, are required to complete a background check through Warren
County Schools every 5 years and annually attend a short training session
at the school, which will take place at the start of the school year, or any
time at your convenience.
If you have not had a background check completed within the past 5 years through WCPS,
you will need to bring your driver's license and fill out a short form to have this done. WCPS
gives you the option of paying for the background check if you wish (make a $10 check payable
to WCPS) to defray some of this cost from our district.
Everyone who wishes to volunteer must go through an annual volunteer training, regardless of
when your background check was completed.
