Builders Club had a great time Friday at the Mall! They worked with the  Salvation Army ringing the bell and even sang inside the Mall at JCPenney's!

In the month of November, We are celebrating Kiwanis Family Month.  We will share a service project with our fellow Kiwanians including other Kiwanis charter school leadership clubs.  
We are Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army the Friday after Thanksgiving at JC Penney (inside location).
Our Time Slot is:  10am to 12pm. If you can help out please email Mrs. Cary or reply to this blog post. Mrs. Goodrich will be present so parents are welcome to walk around the Mall while their child volunteers.
Service Project to help our Military – CHRISTMAS FOR THE SOLDIERS.  Chase Bailey (7th grader) will be spear-heading this project. Donations need to be in by December 1st.  
Next Meeting:  Thursday, December 3rd
Meeting Leader is Chase Bailey
Speaker is Kendra Hansen, topic is Begin with the End in Mind.

Letter to parents

Dear Builders Club and Parents,

We had an excellent meeting last Thursday and went over several service projects that the students want to complete as a group this Fall.  We understand that most will be unable to attend all the service projects and that’s ok.  We have 20 members and can spread out the projects with those available.

www.buildersclub.org   check out the different contest your child can enter in the Spring (attached are the theme).  The Scrapbook and Club Single Service, we will enter as a group.  We will start working on this in January, so start thinking what you would like to enter.

Our Club is Growing!

The Builders Club is growing! Our club now has 19 members! We are so excited about our new members and our upcoming projects. If you want to get involved you will have plenty of opportunities this semester! Our Builders club members are in the planning stages for these projects and do not have dates for everything, but you can read on to see what projects are being planned. Our next meeting will be November 5th!

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF – in progress now. 
Thanksgiving Boxes – with Mrs. Madison.  The Builders Club will collect food from classrooms on Friday, Nov. 6th and Monday, Nov 9th.  
Synergize Center – Dates coming soon! Students will be organizing and cleaning the Synergize Center. 
Affordable Christmas – Saturday, December 5th at Eastwood Baptist Church. Students will be helping to wrap presents. 
Bell Ringing – Friday, November 27th with Kiwanis Family. Time and place to be announced.  
Human Society – Date and time to be announced. Opportunities for students to work helping our furry friends.
Salvation Army – Students will provide a meal and prepare it. Date and time to be announced. 
Our next meeting will be November 5th. Kate Garner will be running the meeting and Trinity McPherson will be our speaker.
