The academic team is a quiz-based sport that tests players on a wide variety of academic subjects. Standardized academic team matches are played by students in the fourth and fifth grade. We compete against over schools in our county before we compete at the Governor's Cup in late February. The game is typically played with a buzzer system between two teams, usually consisting with four or five players each. Players are read questions and try to score points for their team by buzzing first and responding with the correct answer. We also have participants who compete individually by testing in several subject areas. Future Problem Solving or FPS is also apart of the academic team. We work hard as a team to always show great sportsmanship and set good examples for other peers within our school and our district. Go Eagles!
