The Fourth Annual Warren County Public Schools Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, sponsored by the WCPS Equity Council, is scheduled for Saturday, January 13th at 4:00 p.m. in the Warren Central High School Auditorium.
Community leaders and WCPS students will lead the ceremony honoring Dr. King, with musical performances by the Warren Central High School Choir. In addition, there will be student artwork displays, student essays and dramatic reenactments.
This year's event theme is inspired by Dr. King's infamous quote "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive our hate; only love can do that."
